In 1980, Non-Ferrous Extrusions was established as an independent aluminum extrusion mill in Houston, Texas. Our company was created with a very basic business philosophy: to manufacture and supply our customers with standard, custom, and further fabricated aluminum extrusions with lower than industry ordering volume requirements and quick turn production lead times. In addition, our intent is to exceed our customers expectations for both quality and service.
In February 2008, we transferred the extrusion operation and some of the downstream fabrication to Caldwell, TX; this manufacturing facility sits on 34 acres allowing plenty of room for future expansion. Being centrally located between the Houston, Austin and the Dallas/Fort Worth “triangle” helps afford us the ability to expedite products and maintain competitive shipping costs to our customers. The warehouse facility in Houston, Texas continues to house our Corporate Offices, Distribution Center, and smaller CNC fabrication machining centers.
Non-Ferrous Extrusions serves an international sales base for an extremely wide range of industrial, commercial and wholesale customers with special regard to small, quick-turn orders. In our 43 year history, we have grown from a one press operation to a three-press operation with downstream fabrication capabilities with more plans for expansion in our future. Our current extrusion capacity exceeds 64 million net pounds annually. Manufacturing Capabilities
Non-Ferrous Extrusions meets your needs with a full complement of computer-controlled extrusion presses. Our billet diameters and alloys range from 7″ to 10″ in 6060, 6063, 6005A, 6005, and 6061. Our maximum extrusion cut length is 55 lineal feet long and can be tempered to meet a Webster reading of 5 thru 16 (T4 thru T6). Our engineering team knows and utilizes the best technology to build your products in specifications and with the quality you require. We only partner with highly motivated die makers to create the tooling necessary for your project. Do you have a small, quick-turn order? No problem! We have a 43 year reputation of providing some of the fastest lead times in Texas and the surrounding states. Our plant often runs 24 hours per day and 6 days per week with maintenance performed on Sundays … giving our customers the edge in speed to market. Employee Safety & Security
Non-Ferrous Extrusions’ workplace meets OSHA manufacturing regulations to ensure employee health, safety, and longevity. We strongly believe safety is our number one shop priority and treat all of our employees like family. Our employee training/safety program helps improve involvement, awareness and work ethic in their job duties and safety requirements. We are continuously training our team and we feel this is important when introducing new technology, programs or practices. To further ensure the safety and health of our workers, managers establish a focus on safety that can include elements such as: management leadership and commitment, accountability, safety programs, policies, inspections, program audits, educational training, strong communication techniques, and continuous improvement educations.

Our 59,344 square foot Houston, Texas facility is our corporate office and primary sales center with light fabrication, quick turn CNC machining, and distribution capabilities. We are conveniently located just outside Beltway 8 in Northwest Houston.

Our large manufacturing facility is located in Caldwell, Texas and consists of 230,000 square feet of warehouse space on 34 acres. We’re centrally located between Houston, Austin, San Antonio and the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex that allows us to provide shipping that typically takes less than 5 hours.

Recycling
Non-Ferrous Extrusions offers a recycling service to help our customers save money while reducing manufacturing waste products such as aluminum jobsite drops, tamping punchouts, machine center shavings, shear/break drops, etc. We are available for onsite pick-up or you can simply drop off your material at both of our locations.
